Hiking Boot Decoration - Keepsake & Swiss Souvenir featuring The Matterhorn

Do you know someone who would enjoy having the stunning Swiss Alps peering at them from their Christmas tree as a souvenir of Switzerland?  This is the card just for them this Christmas time! With this Christmas card comes a Christmas decoration with views of Switzerland’s famous Matterhorn mountain. The wooden hiking boot decoration features so many notable Swiss highlights including yellow wanderweg signs, turquoise blue alpine lake and hiking paths. 

The hiking boot decoration has a red ribbon which attaches it to the beautiful adventure inspired seasonal card, featuring the phrase ‘Season’s Greetings’ in cursive typeface and underneath in capitals the words ‘Wishing you joy & adventure in the coming year’. 

Surrounding the text and boot are map contour lines as seen on maps. When the decoration is removed there is a drawn version of the decoration left on the card so it continues to look beautiful even when the decoration is detached alongside all their other Christmas cards. Whilst the decoration itself can be used year after year to remind them of you or of their memories of the Swiss Alps. 

The decoration is perfect for posting as it is light weight and flat making. Boot is a digital college of an illustration and my ink paintings. The design was then printed onto birch plywood and threaded with red satin ribbon. This item  counts as letter size for posting. 

The back of the boot can be personalised perhaps with a persons favourite route or the word Switzerland. Space is limited on this ornament. Max characters on each line - 12, including spaces. 

Cards can be sent directly to the recipient with a message written inside if postage is within Switzerland. For delivery outside of Switzerland please see my Etsy Shop. 

Printed on 7x 5 textured thick soft white card, it feels luxurious to hold showing the Swiss mountain lover just how much you care about them. The envelope comes with a postal protection card. 

The card is blank inside for your own message and the back features the Deer & Sparrow logo and contact details.

Please note that Birch Plywood is a natural material which means that the colour, grain, and texture of each decoration will be slightly different from those photographed. The wood grain may also be visible adding character to the ornament. 

Every effort has been made to show the true colours of the decorations, however colours may vary due to computer monitor settings.

  • If you’d like the GREETINGS CARD sent directly to the recipient with a handwritten message, simply add your message for the inside of the card in the notes box at checkout, and I’ll take care of the rest.
  • If you’d like a DECORATION sent directly to the recipient this will be wrapped in tissue paper and have a gift tag added. Simply add your message for the tag in the notes box at checkout.
